2013/08/29 : Servet v3.0 released
Version 3.0 of Servet has been released and can be obtained from the Downloads section. The main changes in this new version are:
- Tuning of the benchmark to estimate the cache sizes so that it provides accurate results for modern architectures (e.g. Intel i7 or the lastest versions of AMD Opteron)
- Inclusion of a benchmark to detect the cache bandwidths
- Inclusion of benchmarks to provide information about the communication degradation because of sharing the network among several nodes/cores
2013/03/04 : New Servet version is coming soon
Version 3.0 of Servet will be soon released. The main change will be addition of a benchmark to detect communication performance degradation due to concurrent accesses to the netowrks. The algorithm to provide the most appropriate mapping policies will be improved using this new information. Finally, this version will have been tested on new architectures such as Cray XT4 and Cray XE6.2011/06/22 : Servet v2.0 released
Version 2.0 of Servet has been released and can be obtained from the Downloads section. The main changes in this new version are:
- Inclusion of an API (with C syntax) to access the estimated data from programs or applications
- Inclusion of algorithms to find the most appropriate mapping policy according to the estimated data
- Increase of the accuracy of the estimations of the benchmarks
- Support for more UNIX OS (e.g. Suse 11 or Red Hat 4)
